On the 28th of November 2022, our company and more specifically the Managing Director Mr. Marios Georgiou together with the Creative Marketing Manager Ms. Stephanie Georgiou had visited the premises of Cyprus University of Technology in Limassol, for an educational presentation to 2nd year Hotel & Tourism Management students.
The presentation was particularly focused on the selection of Housekeeping supplies, especially linen such as bedsheets, towels, mattress and pillow protectors, quilts and quilt covers, bathrobes as well as cosmetics including shampoo, shower gels and soaps, housekeeping trolleys and other guestroom accessories such as coffee making and ironing facilities, safe boxes, minibars, hairdryers, luggage racks and others.
Students were interested to know the various qualities of linen and they were explained that the selection of housekeeping supplies mostly depends on the hotel’s rating and standard as well as on the decisions taken by the hotel management and the type of guests that the hotel attracts. For example, the quality of linen and accessories chosen by a 3-star hotel varies greatly from the choices made by a luxury 5-star hotel. This is because the 5-star hotel is interested in offering a more affluent, comfortable and splendid experience to its guests. hence it chooses goods of higher quality.
For this reason, we apprehend that the selection of the right housekeeping supplies plays an integral role in keeping the high standards of a hotel, thus enhancing guest satisfaction as well as the overnight stay experience.
Our company aims to keep and even raise the standards of Cypriot HORECA Industry by being close to students and helping them expand their knowledge so that they get to understand the basic details of the HORECA market so that they recognize the process of choosing the right supplies for each hospitality establishment.
